Description:

Glass vacuum tubes are the main component of solar collectors. Vacuum tubes consist of two borosilicate glass tubes, between which there is a vacuum. A distinctive feature of borosilicate glass is its high resistance to chemical and thermal effects. The outer side of the inner tube has a highly selective coating. Due to the evacuated space between the tubes, heat loss is almost completely eliminated. Solar selective coating absorbs solar radiation, the emission of heat from the surface of the tubes is minimal.

The tube is mainly used to replace crashed or lost vacuum tubes in solar vacuum collectors. Moreover, if you have a vacuum manifold with heat pipes, it is not necessary to change the heat pipe – just pull out the heat pipe and heat-conducting petals and put them in a new glass tube.
