Description:

The tube consists of two glass flasks of different diameters inserted into each other. Flasks are made of durable borosilicate glass. An outer transparent bulb allows light rays to pass with minimal reflection. The inner flask is coated with special selective coatings that are distinguished by excellent absorption of solar radiation and minimal reflection. In the upper part, two flasks are connected together, and the air contained in the space between the two layers of glass is pumped out. In the lower part, the inner bulb is kept from touching the outside with a special holder, a getter is also located there – a getter, a substance that absorbs and firmly holds the residual gases. Solar radiation passing through the outer bulb is absorbed by the inner bulb, warms it up, but the heat does not escape back through the vacuum. This design is similar to a regular thermos for tea, but with a transparent outer bulb.
